Description

This 24mm f/1.8 lens is designed for full-frame format Sony E-mount mirrorless cameras and provides a 36mm equivalent focal length when used on APS-C-format cameras.

Bright f/1.8 maximum aperture is ideal for working in low-light conditions and offers greater control over depth of field and focus position for selective focus applications.

Two extra-low dispersion elements, two aspherical elements, and three high refractive index elements are incorporated within the lens design and help to control chromatic aberrations as well as reduce color fringing for sharper, clearer imagery.

An Ultra Multi-Coating has been applied to all lens elements to suppress lens flare and ghosting for increased contrast and color accuracy.

The Linear STM autofocus motor and internal focus design maintains the overall length of the lens during use.

A non-rotating 58mm front filter mount enables the use of polarizing, graduated ND, and other filter types that require precise positioning.
