A compact wide-angle prime lens with an advanced optical design, the silver M.Zuiko Digital ED 12mm f/2 from Olympus has featured a 24mm equivalent lens for Olympus Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras. The wide focal length partner with the bright f/2 maximum aperture which is suitable for Astrophotography projects. The lens’s optical design makes use of one aspherical element, one DSA element, and a Super HR element to reduce spherical deviation and control distortion for notable sharpness, and one extra-low dispersion element reduces color fringing for high clarity and color accuracy images.
Additionally, the lens is characterized by an MSC autofocus system for fast and soundproof performance.
