The ultra-wide focal length of 10mm (16mm for full-frame equivalent) that comes with the RF-S10-18mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM allows you to capture a lot more. When compared to the standard kit lens RF-S18-45mm f/4.5-6.3 IS STM, this lens is capable of capturing over 3 times as much area.
